Etching machine is a system designed to etch plates covered with copper etching solution. For single-layer or double-layer plates, ferric chloride is most often used as an etching solution. The air goes from the air pump through a tube into the bath with the etching solution. The air bubbles go against the etched printed circuit board and accelerate the etching - the bubbles act mechanically and "wash away" the etched copper.
