Earthing boxes are intended for easy and fast connecting protective wrist straps at assembly workplaces with dedicated ESD room for processing electrostatic sensitive components. They meet requirements of EN 61 340-5-1 standard, and can be utilised both for permanent and temporary workplaces.

Earthing box consists of a plastic box, on front face of which are three connecting sockets. They can be selected from the combination of 4 mm banana plug and 10 mm press button depending on utilised conductors from wrist straps. Lead 2.5 m long protrudes from the box, termination of which can be selected from four variant according to utilised earthing system. Cable lug termination is the most appropriate for permanent workplaces. For temporary workplaces, other variants are intended – 10 mm press button, banana plug, open cable lug. The terminals are interconnected either directly, or via 1 MΩ protective resistors.
