Description
- Dimensions 150 x 200 mm.
- It is a more affordable variant of bags resistant to increased ambient humidity.
- They do not contain an aluminium layer, but the aluminium is only baked onto the polyester film.
- They are suitable for storing less moisture sensitive components.
- Thickness: 62 μm to 200 μm.
- Normal thickness: 100 μm (or 90 μm).
- Maximum width: 1250 mm.
- MVTR: < 0,08 g/100 sqinch/24h.
- Example of ANMBB material layers: AS coating/Aluminised PET 12um/LLDPE 88 μm/AS coating.
These are specially designed bags for storage of electronic components and circuit boards sensitive to increased humidity. In English, the term Moisture Barrier Bag (MBB) or Dryshield Bag is used. They provide shielding against electrostatic fields and are also water vapour resistant due to the barrier. It is recommended to place a desiccant bag inside the bags to absorb residual moisture.
