Test leads (probes) are used when working with measuring instruments in the repair and testing of electronic circuits, including SMT. The advantage is the possibility of easy replacement of the needle tip according to the measurement needs (crown, tip). Thanks to the spring mechanism of the needles, a better contact with the measured point is guaranteed, while the wear of the tips and damage to the measured circuits (SMD components) are reduced.

The tips can only be used for measuring low-current circuits with a maximum voltage of 24 V and a maximum current of 2 A.
